Thank you for your support of our 2005 campaign to celebrate all that American girls are and all they can be. Together, we raised approximately $190,000 for three distinct programs offered by our 2005 benefit partner, Girls Inc.:
- Operation Smart®—Building girls’ skills in math, science, and technology
- Discovery Leadership®—Developing girls’ leadership potential
- Sporting Chance®—Encouraging girls’ athletic skills and a cooperative team spirit
Again, thank you for your generous support of this campaign and for encouraging girls to say “I CAN!” As always, American Girl will continue to help make a meaningful and positive difference in the lives of all young girls.

The 2005 program and partnership ended on December 26, 2005. However, the American Girl Promise, which is the foundation of the program, will remain on our Web site so girls can continue to sign the promise as a reminder to believe in themselves and in each other.
